The NCAA has announced that the following bats have been decertified and thus will not be allowed in American Legion Baseball effective immediately:

1.  33-inch Reebok Vector-TLS; and

2.  33-inch Marucci 2011 Cat 5 Squared

The 2012 West Division Schedule has been posted, the East Division will be posted shortly.

The District voted unanimously at is January 3rd meeting to play 22 regular season games in 2012.  The regular season will begin June 6 and conclude on July 22.  District Playoffs will be held between July 24 and July 27.  Sectional Playoff Tournaments will be held between July 29 and August 2 and the State Tournament will commence on August 4 and conclude on August 8.

Massachusetts will hold a single elimination Tournament to determine its representative at the Region One Tournament.  The 8 District Champions will meet on July 16 in 4 games across the State to determine the 4 Semi Fiinal participants.  The 4 winners will pair off in 2 games on July 17 at Worcester Academy (12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.) and the winner of those games will play at 4:00 p.m. on July 18 at Worcester Academy to determine the Massachusetts Nationalbound Champion.  District 6 will determine its Champion when the first place teams from the East and West Divisions play each other on July 11.  Standings will be based upon the first 18 games of the regular season as of July 9.  The District 6 Champion will play at the District 4 Champion on July 16.
